Today marks the 100th anniversary of Peninsula State Park. In honor of the occaision, all of the WI state parks were having an 'open house' -- and we opened the gift and went exploring. The first picture is just inside the park gate, looking back into the village of Fish Creek. Then come the proverbial beech trees on parade. Finally a split-rail fence complete with luscious litchen. We're on our way to the light house tour.
